Pivot Points Wording Overlaps Latest Candlesticks

  Hi there,

  Apologies if this is the wrong forum as I’m not sure if this is Platform Issue or Indicator issue?

  I’ve spent about an hour going through all the different ways to set the standard pivot point lines on a chart without the words R3, R2, R1, Piv D, S1, S2, S3 etc either being very, very close to the current candle (eg daily setting for a daily chart) or in fact overlapping it (eg if you set a pivot to daily but change the chart to 4 hours for example). Even setting the pivot to 4 hours and the chart to 4 hours it still overlaps. Pls see image 1 in black. I have tried setting pivots to automatic too but oddly on a daily chart that seemed to produce monthly pivots? Pls see image 2 – white chart.

  I have reduced the font to -2 and played around with the left indent, centre and right indent icons and the number of chart units but whatever I do it is always to close to the last candle or overlapping the last few candles. Why can’t the Pivot Lines be set hard on the far right of a chart and then I can use “amount of future in % of width” to get it not overlap?

  Any ideas?

  That’s because the pivot segment is limited to end of day, so unlike small timeframes, on 4h chart the end of day is always close to last candle. You may push the daily pivot label in the future closer to the right border of the window further from last candle by ticking the box as in attached image (sorry don’t know how it’s called on english version), combined with right indent. But it comes with drawing long lines instead of short segments, so the price to pay is cluttering the graph on past days.
