Hey,
So my problem is that I can’t place two limit orders after a have bought my instrument. For example say that I go long by buying to 10 contracts. First a want to set a limit order to sell half of mine position and then sell rest of it when my risk ratio is 1:2. Now I can only set one limit order that is linked to my long position with the same quantity.

But I think this is not true for manual trading.

That means: I put manually a limit order (or stop order) for the entry of the trade, and I want to put a limit order on this trade to cut half of the trade when a certain level is reached.

So I’ve been unable to repeat this on a chart when setting an order. I’m going to check this coming week whether this was on an activve trade. So it may be that when you are in a trade you can right click and get a partial close order. I’m not sure ho wit works yet but will see.
However for me to set partial closes I check the limit level with the slider and simply place a normal limit order with no stoploss or limit on it for the partial amount and drop the order on the chart which will automatically net off the trade if it dosn’t have a stoploss associated with it. You can then also do the same for your 2nd limit or simply use the slider for the second order.
I am however interested to see next week what this partial close is as it is either an at market partial close or a chance ot set an order. Will see…
