Hi,
Two questions for you if someone would be able to assist please – I am very new to this platform and it is very much possible that I am asking for extremely basic solution:
- When I runned the software, chose needed chart, there are no updates being done, not even if I set one candlestick to one minute or even one second. Everything is on hold. Also yellow price which is on Y axis, representing 100% real live data, is NOT updated – it is put on hold, all the time for hours showing identical price. No data is being updated. Everything is showing same identical prices for hours. We all knows the prices in 100% real time might be updating every milisecond, perhaps even microsecond. In my ProRealTime platform everything is on hold, nothing is updated. The consequence of this is that all prices, including entire massive list (it should be updating every millisecond) in column on the left-hand side, are wrong for obvious reason: no updates. Could anyone please tell me how to put platform in live mode so ALL the prices will be updating and will be live and so the charts, all indicatiors, etc will be updating too? Currently my candlestick charts are not updated, 100% static mode, same as for all indicators.
- I learned how to add new indicator on the chart but how do I remove it from the chart? Note: I don’t want to delete it from platform because I might use it again later. I just want to know how to temporary delete it from current chart so it wouldn’t be shown.
Thank you in advance.
11/26/2016 at 3:09 PM #17239Hi there
- Who is your broker / platform provider? You sure you not just got daily data feed with PRT?
2. Isn’t there a cross that closes an indicator? The cross wont delete the indicator from the list. I’ll check on my platform later and if its not a cross I’ll get back on here (I do it so often, I’ve forgotten sorry! hahaha) .
Cheers

11/26/2016 at 3:31 PM #17242The software ProRealTime is not connected to any broker, at least my not. I have Platinum version but I am still in ”free trial” membership method. I am running it just for analysis purposes and not to trade on the platform directly. I don’t know what you mean with ”PRT”. Neither do I know how to check if the data was 100% live (updating in microseconds) or daily data feed. However from aspect of updating prices (real time LIVE data), it used to work but I haven’t done any major, nor minor, change so I don’t know how to put the software back to live mode? Could you please explain?
Regarding removing (from chart, NOT from platform!!!)/exiting the indicators: Few have exit cross button yes – those are particularly the ones located UNDER the graph as a separated analysis element. Example of such indicator is RSI. Few don’t have such buttons – those are particularly (might not be the only) the ones located directly on the graph. Example of such is Bollinger. I am asking how to remove/exit particular indicator from currently opened chart.
11/26/2016 at 3:53 PM #17244Aha gotcha!
To delete Indicators on the Price Chart you have to click the mmm??? button and then you see the list of indicators you have inseted on the price chart, select the indicator you want to delete and then select delete at top right of that window / pain.
If that doesnt make sense then wait until later and Ill put a screen shot up, but I’m not in my platform at the mo … hence me referring to the mmm??? button.
Re the other point … you must have got the platfrom from some provider … was it from PRT direct?

11/26/2016 at 4:03 PM #17245I just thought of something else … are you talking about data / prices being dead today? If Yes, then markets are closed on Sat & Sun … all our platforms are dead.
Markets open again, some around 9.15 pm on Sun but most around 11 pm on Sunday night.
Hope that helps?
11/26/2016 at 4:37 PM #17251I don’t see the ”mmn???” button or hyperlink anywhere. Some screenshot would be appreciated here. There is also one unwanted indicator directly on that chart that I have never added. I would currently want to delete it from chart too and perhaps later, when i will need it, add it again. I don’t know which button you were referring to. If you were indicating the button which shows hint, upon mouse cursor move, ”Indicators and trading systems”, and this button once clicked causes additional window to pop up, that won’t work. Surely there is DELETE button and there is also ”My Indicators” section in the list. However when I delete currently unwanted one (unwanted on chart only) and approve, nothing happens. It remains being on chart.
I downloaded platform from website prorealtime.com. I had to do small installation. Every time I try to run, it basically runs this website and asking me (unless current browser cookies remained) to log in. Once I do, i have to click additional button on the website ( ! ) to open the software from hard drive.
Regarding the ”dead” data (data not being updated in microseconds in real time 100% live): Yes the prices are still static, nothing is being updated. You said this could be due to nonbusiness days. Although you forgot to mention holidays, I assume you wanted to include them into your reply but could you please tell me holidays according to which country’s calendar? And saturdays, sundays according to which country’s calendar/timezone?
Additionally, I apologize but I strongly disagree (although I would still kindly ask you to please answer two questions in previous paragraph of this reply by me) when you said no data is being updated just because its not business trading day. If you look at brokers such as 24option.com, binaryonline.com, binarymate.com and so on, you will clearly see that volatility is happening: Prices are being updated all the time. Not just every second but every mili/micro second. I don’t understand why the data wouldn’t be updating on platforms then? I am sure something is wrong here, I might have accidentally put my platform in static mode causing data to NOT be updated in real time live.
Also according to your sentence in your latest reply starting with ”Markets open…” this doesn’t tell me anything: when talking about business days, saturday, sundays, holidays, times, etc ALWAYS must be country’s calendar (holidays purpose) and timezone (name of days and timing purpose) stated.
11/26/2016 at 6:09 PM #17267The mmm??? button (which I couldnt remember) is a spanner … see screen shot.
Also see an Imdicator highlighted and the delete button ready to be clicked if you want to delete.
Re the dead data … what day is it today where you are and when was your data last working okay?
11/26/2016 at 6:18 PM #17271Attached is a screen shot of my broker platform, you will see blue icons and I have selected one showing that all the markets I trade are closed.
I would check where you live but I’d need to look up your flag. maybe I’ll do that now.
11/26/2016 at 6:33 PM #17275You’re in Russia right and its Sat 20.30 ish MSK at the time of me writing this?
Attached shows all markets across the world closed currently 17.27 GMT
Here’s a link to world time zones.

I agree some market makers do make a market in certain instruments over the weekend, but the spreads can be crazy wide and open to abuse / much influence by the market maker in my opinion? I stand to be corrected?
Hope above helps?
11/26/2016 at 6:36 PM #17278Oh now I strain my eyes to see your flag, there is a little crest on it (which I can’t make out) so maybe you in Slovenia?
Or even China? Chinese flag is white, blue red with a little crest on it … unless I am reading this all wrong?
11/26/2016 at 7:19 PM #17280Click on wrench button on the price chart to add/remove indicators applied on price.
About coming binary options brokerage and PRT platform, I’m sorry I’m not following up with you.. But as Grahal said markets are closed until Sunday evening for Forex and some CFDs contracts and until Monday for shares. So it seems normal that nothing is moving on your charts, such as mine obviously..
11/26/2016 at 7:21 PM #1728111/26/2016 at 8:26 PM #17286GraHal regarding temporary removing/deleting indicator being directly on chart: I had to do a little research to see how did you get that Settings window as you are showing. I figured out that you right mouse clicked on the empty (without candlesticks) area of chart and clicked on ”Settings Price”. Your method really worked – this is what I was looking for.
GraHal, regarding your reply #17271 (had to say ID of reply and not time of submitting it because you might see different time than i do): Your situation seem to be similar to my – data is static, no mili/micro second updates being done (live), although obviously i cannot see price updates from screenshot. I am from Slovenia. But there are three major confusions I am still having. I understand there is no price updates (therefore also no charts/indicators dynamics) because its not business trading day but:
- GraHal you said no updates are being done on saturdays, sundays. I automatically assumed holidays too but according to which country’s calendar? Is this according to (note: my software is not linked to any broker) ProRealTime’s country where their sales office is located? Is this according to the country where the physical location of bank is where ProRealTime’s team own their bank account for payments for using the software? Is this according to where their payment processor (IF any) is physically located? Is this according to where the bank account of payment processor (IF any) is located? Is this according to the web servers (if offshore) owned by ProRealTime’s technical department for data management? Perhaps to some third party broker (if yes, which one?)? Perhaps to location (according to what? IP? what if analyzing from remote computer?) of trader, e.g. me or you? That last one is for my opinion extremely unlikely as it seems impossible that data would be updating only in local country’s calendar (or IP’s country calendar? note: if trading from remote computer then this is not the same) knowing holidays of every single country on the planet and also timezones. In brief: How can I know exact time (timezone, day, calendar for holidays) when updates are happening? Different countries have completely different data. If you tell that updates are being done from 0:00:01 (a second after midnight) on monday to 23:59:59 (a second before midnight) on friday and if you tell me also that the holidays are excluded (from second after midnight to second before midnight), I will obviously want to know holidays according to which country? So i can try to find out which holidays, on which dates, does the country have? Obviously holidays may be two kinds: the ones where people work (e.g. holidays related to some historical highly respected even in particular nation) or holidays where everyone, except very few exceptions (urgent department in hospitals, firemans, etc) is off (e.g. Christmas)? I am sorry for complicating so much but i need to know when can i expect data being updated and when not.
- GraHal, Nicolas said that updates are already occurring on sunday evening but he forgot to say when on the evening and according to which country/calendar/timezone. However you said that there are no updates on saturdays, sundays (and holidays as i understod). This would mean the entire day. Here is a big difference…
- How is possible that websites I previously listed (e.g. binaryonline.com) have data being updated, indicating members can trade during weekend/holidays, but analysis platform software ProRealTime doesn’t have updates?
11/27/2016 at 11:19 AM #17300still same problem today, everything is static/dead. No data being updated. I am starting to think this software (analysis platform) doesn’t work. The bug is probably not just in ”free trial” time period because the version is premium. Without clearly knowing when the updates might be corrupted (time, name of days[s], timezone, country’s calendar), the software cannot be accurately used.
11/27/2016 at 12:14 PM #17301Morning Puppy
Your problem is almost certainly because it is Sunday and so no real time data / prices are available because markets are closed (as they are for all of us).
I suggest you try again tomorrow, Monday and then report back your findings?
Cheers
GraHal
