I have a PRT account through I.G. We all know on I.G that you cannot look further back than 100,000 candles. So. I signed up to pro real time Premium on the website to get a better History.
The issue I have is that on PRT premium, I cannot get the dax to show the same times as it does on I.G. It only shows the time from 0800 -1630. This makes back testing impossible to compare.
I.G can trade the Dax through the night which is also not available on P.R.T premium.
At 100 euros per month for the premium software it seems pointless if I cant compare like for like and do bigger back testing on my charts.
I have tried changing platform options many times in various ways and it doesn’t change the trading times.
So for all you out there who would like a better history to look at how your trades would perform be careful.
Any response on how to rectify the problem I would be grateful. I also had a look at using PRT brokerage service instead of I.G but the £4000 deposit it requires from me is just a bit too steep.
If I.G would offer the longer history, even at a premium I would prefer to use them.
