It would be interesting to see the Equity Curve and the Detailed Report for just your DAX M3 algo that you mention above … from ProOrder AutoTrading (not for the whole Portfolio / overall Detailed Report that you link to above).
Avg gain of winnings trades 420
Avg loss of losing trades 1631
Thats all i need to know

08/06/2020 at 11:42 AM #141000Hi Fran55,
The stoploss on our algos are maximum 2%.
One of the keys of our success is diversifying with many different timeframes and markets. One algo could have 3 consecutive losses and you would hardly notice it. Actually that is what happened with our DAX M3 algo. It had 3 losses in 2 weeks and this is still the total gain curve of all our algos (customer results)

This is where I have a problem with this offering and strategy. In order to run ALL algos at the same time, PRTA are saying you need an OPENING margin of 66,000 euro to get the returns that they are advertising. Again, make sure you understand the small print. This does not account for any draw down that each of them could take – you might need to add another 50,000 euro to cover that – 10 algos with 5,000 euro drawdown each? (low probability but there will definitely be some)
Most people are not trading with that kind of free capital in their account so I feel each algo should be able to stand on its own.
I’ve compared their best performing also with the community developed MOD one here if anyone wants to look.
I will do a review of of the DOW vs MOD DOW next.
Hopefully it’s helpful.

Hi StingRe,
That’s good feedback. We understand that 66 000€ is bigger capital than most have. But to be clear, the returns and position sizes are ofcourse scalable, so you just divide it with your own capital.
Let’s say you only have 1/10 of that capital (6 600 euro) and would run with 1/10 of our position sizes. Your returns since May 20th would have been 4 848€ (73% gain)1/10 of our position size would be the following
- DAX 1 contract (1€)
- US100 1 contract (1€)
- DOW 0.5 contract (1€)
- CAC 2 contracts (1€)
We have actually started a challenge called Marco Making the Million, the starting capital of this account is 5 000€.
We are now on week 1 and have made a 4.27% gain the first week. So there is no problem running our algos on smaller sizes.

Starting January 17th (maybe January 10th) we are starting another trial period of our algos.
This means that you can backtest aswell as run all the algos in test for a couple of weeks to make up your own mind. Please go to prorealalgos.com/landing and enter your e-mail address to which you want to receive the algos.

01/06/2021 at 5:59 PM #156650I started this thread because just like you i was very doughtful.
I was given a trial period by prorealalgos to try all the algos and they didnt let me down, after the trial period i bought one algo.
I have made some money and lost some, but i do really recommend them.
Try the trial period and then base your decision off that

Do you have your algo running on live Kenneth? How’s it going? What is the gain/loss ration, total gain etc.?
Thanks.

How are you calculating or where are you seeing the 90% and over what period is it 90%?
Just asking out of interest.
01/19/2021 at 1:17 PM #15849301/19/2021 at 3:16 PM #158517The main issue I have is that its very difficult to know for sure that they wont wipe out your account. I understand why they want to hide everything but not being able to completely understand whats happening, especially with large sizes is a concern.
That said, the backtests look good, has anyone ran any thru VRT?

Yes, I agree. I downloaded the trial package and put them on demo yesterday evening. Personally I would never rent or buy a strategy, knowing that so many are scams (I’ve heard at least 95%, but I don’t know if that’s correct).
I would absolutely not run them live with real money. I have only backtestet one (100k bars, see attached). I’m sure there are better results than this though.
So far (it’s of course way too early to say anything how they will perform over time) the 18 algos have closed one trade, a win, 3 euro big. There are 4 trades open, all in losing positions, together they are -220 euro at the moment. I run everything on 1 contract with minimum size (mostly 1 euro).

Thank you for the info. If you keep them going, could you let us know how it goes? Thanks!
