    Last few weeks the ProBackTest engine was working very well on the sponsored account ( I was so happy) but now its terrible. If I try to run a backtest with more than 75000 bars I keep getting error message. Even with 75000 bars I sometimes get the error message to send a report. Is anyone else experiencing this drop in speed and error message?

    I have found with tick by tick on and any LIMIT STOP and SET orders in the code I get the error message quite often but as I don’t really favour strategies that use tick by tick I can’t really comment if it is worse than before. Very close stops and limits to price can cause this issue I believe.

    • Select “Code”
    • Give as many details as possible, explain the issue you are having in the text box and mention the name of the code you are referring to.

    @vonasi I’m only using market orders and no tick data.

    There’s nothing wrong with the code – its just that the platform its not running the backtest to the same level of performance as it was the previous couple of weeks. Is there differences between peoples accounts that there could be an account specific issue?

    Is your internet connection reliable? I have found that when I am on a poor internet connection I can get a lot of these drop outs and messages requesting that I send a report.
