I do not have the demo account setup with PRT yet, I have sent an email to IG support to resolve the issue with the error of activating PRT on demo account.
But my main issue is on the real account. And I doubt that setting upi PRT on demo account will help.
As a matter of fact, for the same IG account I have 2 SB sub accounts and 1 CFD account. And PRT works fine on the CFD and the other SB account. But not on my main SB account !!!!
11/19/2023 at 9:35 AM #223906Weirder and weirder!
How many different Instruments and how many Systems does the Detailed Report not work for on the – lets call it No 1 SB Account? Clutching at straws again I know.
Also, how many Systems do you have listed / shown in the AutoTrading window on both the No 1 & No 2 SB Accounts?
11/19/2023 at 10:42 AM #223909Indeed weird. The only thing I can think of is different settings in PRT (I checked and could not find anything) or different settings in PRT on the server side installation or other but can´t check that (I have tried disabling and reenabling but no difference).
The detailed report does not work for any of the systems running or not running on SB1 Account.
The detailed report does work on all systems running or not running on SB2 account.
The detailed report does work on all systems running or not running on CFD account.SB1, SB2 and CFD are all sub accounts of the IG account.
11/19/2023 at 12:29 PM #223916How many Systems do you have listed / shown in the Backtesting & Automatic Trading window on your No 1 & No 2 SB Accounts … a figure for each Account?
You probably think what has this to do with my problem?
Up to when I ceased to store / List loads of Systems in the Backtesting & Automatic Trading window I used to get almost every weird happening on PRT, many times over.
Since I stopped storing Systems on the Backtesting & Automatic Trading I get almost zero weird happenings.
Above may have nothing to do with your weirdness, but we need to try / consider everything?

11/19/2023 at 6:26 PM #223931I can only thank you for trying to help me Grahal.
On the “problematic” SB account I have 9 running systems and 52 non running systems.
The other 2 accounts have a couple of running systems and less than 10 non running systems.PS
The issue happened suddenly without having added or removed any systems or may be a couple (I can´t be 100 % sure)
I will remove 3 systems from the non running windows just in case there is a 60 limit !!!11/19/2023 at 6:31 PM #22393211/19/2023 at 8:25 PM #223934Since I stopped storing Systems on the Backtesting & Automatic Trading I get almost zero weird happenings.
I was not referring to the running and not running window.
I was referring to theBacktesting & Automatic Trading window.
Also there is no need to remove any at this stage just state how many are listed in the Backtesting & Automatic Trading window?
11/20/2023 at 8:29 AM #223938Ooops sorry did not understand which window you were refering to initially.
IG Account1 (complete)
SB1 Account – 310 systems – detailed report on a system is not working
SB2 Account – 28 systems –detailed report on a system is working
CFD Account – 16 systems- detailed report on a system is workingIG Account2 (Premium)
SB account – 163 systems detailed report on a system is working11/20/2023 at 9:30 AM #223942310 Systems on the SB1 Account is far far too many in my experience. In the past, I used to keep 100’s also and I used to get weird stuff happen!
My rule now is < 20 tops, < 10 better still.
All you need do is export 300 Systems to your PC … takes a few seconds for each export.
It will be a pain, but after you’ve done it, the Backtesting & Automatic Trading window will be loads more usable (nor more searching up and down a list of 310) but also you will remove the chance of losing 310 Systems if your PRT Platform ever crashes big style (has happened to me twice! ).
I now keep ALL my Systems on my PC and only import those few Systems that I am actually working on.
Also who knows until you try … the above action may get you the Detailed Report back on SB1 Account (after Quit and Log back in)?
11/20/2023 at 1:18 PM #223964OK I am now down to 250 systems still some way to go to go below 20.
However it was working with 250 systems before (and it works with 163 systems as this is what I have on premium), as I have not added more than 60 systems for sure.I hink the cause is somewhere else, but still no idea where
11/20/2023 at 2:45 PM #223980My theory is that the Detailed Report has a certain time to execute (1 or 2 seconds maybe) and beyond that the process aborts.
With so many Systems on the Backtesting window (maybe even combined with how many Systems in the running and not running window) the search on the index of all these Systems (esp with lots of System names near identical?) takes longer than the time allowed and so – in your case for SB1 Account – the Detailed Report aborts and never appears.
All above is theory on my part, from much PRT weirdness in the past with no logical explanation and which no longer happens (for several years now) since I ceased to store 100’s of Systems on my Platform.
11/20/2023 at 5:53 PM #223988Hi Grahal
If this was the case then it would work in certain instances, may be rarely but from time to time.
The factthat it does not work at all, never, is I believe a settings somewhere client / server side.
I will continue to reduce the size but doubt very much.1 user thanked author for this post.

Straws again, but in the absence of help from IG / PRT then it’s worth trying?
