GraHal – At least for me it is difficult to wrap my head around a Chart-2 which is older than Chart-1 (or whatever – bzzz), but few remarks anyway which may be helpful :
Yes, surely the orders will show in real time (as if you’d be backtesting).
Notice that the platform behaves _as if_ you are backtesting, which can be of the last (screen filling) time period only. Thus now it feels like real time; Actually, however, it is a back test which runs to the end of the asked-for time.
Do the latter a second time and previous orders can well be disappeared (I feel that you are dealing with something like that).
Of course it depends on your algo whether the platform had sufficient “idea” to apply the Long or Short, thus, be half a screen further (like 14 minutes in your case) and all may be very different.
I never noticed oddities regarding this (and have been staring for “weeks” to real time back tests (always better than a month etc. back)), and what I recall of it is that you must always set the same starting time. Thus, when you once asked for “now” and it came up with 13:53 (Chart-1) you better apply that 13:53 to your next start of the back test (in Chart-2). Then it should apply exactly the same.
If is is all besides your subject then feel free to ignore.
