Our trading marketplace will open very soon. I will announce the date next week.
If someone is interested to be featured as a vendor in the upcoming website, don’t hesitate to contact me: market[at]prorealcode.com 🙂
11/11/2020 at 6:27 PM #150171Hi @Nicolas,
I have question regarding the liability of seller. Does the marketplace has the term & conditions good enough to cover or advise (or educate) the subscriber/client that in case of financial loss due to the product they subscribed or purchased, is their own sole responsibility? It is quite standard I believe as I can read from multiple signal copier platform, so like to be sure.
Though only on worst case scenario, but in case claim happens, can the T&C be a support to seller? Or sellers should by default draft their own T&C?
Sorry if the question sounds noob, but as the newcomer in selling (if) such financial product, I opt to learn more from you. Thanks in advance for your advice.
11/12/2020 at 9:09 AM #150226To be clear, ProRealCode marketplace is not a trading signal provider, but a website to connect ProRealTime traders and coders with their potentiel customers.
The website will be officially launched on the 23rd November.

11/12/2020 at 11:48 AM #150259For sure, @Nicolas, it is not same like signal copier, I agree with you, marketplace is far more advanced. Sorry, maybe I didn’t put it right, mentioning it just to retrieve an example for reference as the business model quite similar where there is admin, seller and buyer. I’m not sure if your answer is clear, I mean my question is whether the marketplace has T&C covering the seller to not be liable of client financial impact? And I guess product in marketplace is still considered as financial product? In case of client’s financial impact, is it clear that seller not liable? Of course seller has the best intention, especially with your filtering, the products are really the very good one if not the best. But in case of dispute (worst case scenario), how does it work? And whether standard T&C covering the seller? If not, seller should prepare it by themselves? I hope I’m clear.

11/12/2020 at 12:03 PM #150263ProRealCode marketplace does not sell any products. T&C of sellers applied when a client buy a product for each of the vendor.
However, when registering to the website, a user (a buyer or seller) agree to the Market Rules, which precisely describe the role of each partie, what to expect, etc.. It is a very long list I can’t post here.

11/12/2020 at 12:30 PM #15026911/15/2020 at 8:23 PM #150578Would it be advisable to set some base standards that people selling would have to hit. eg, 75% win rate at least 2 or preferably 3 gain and having been tested on live?
I’ve knocked up a bot with £3700 return over 3 months on DJI and no losses, mainly long positions and a single short but have yet to test on live, to be honest I wouldnt in good conscience wish to sell that without live testing as my faith in the prorealtime backtest pardon the pun has been tested.
11/15/2020 at 8:45 PM #150582Nicholas, also on the ProRealAlgos website they have stuck this at the bottom
©2020 ProRealAlgos
ProRealTime™ is a trademark registered by the third-party entity ProRealTime SASand are now quoting you as saying they do good work.
It’s misleading and inferring you are supporting their site?
11/16/2020 at 9:10 AM #150611I’m not supporting anyone. There are other vendors on the marketplace that are doing good work also 🙂 Designing and refining a trading system, as you know, is an hard work, and I’m just pointing the fact that some people are doing good for this, in my own opinion.
Once you are confident enough to be featured on the marketplace, drop me an email so we can discuss.
having been tested on live
This is one of the condition to be allowed to sell products on the marketplace.

Indeed it is not open yet, but the PRT versions for all worldwide customers need to be updated! This process will take some times I’m sorry, the good news is that PRT v11 should also come very quickly for IG now.
I will not open the door until PRT updates have been made. I don’t want customers to buy products they can’t install! 🙂
11/23/2020 at 8:53 AM #151274Good morning that’s a shame, I was once again happy to finally be able to take a look at the store.
That you can’t buy anything is understandable, but that you can’t see anything from the shop yet is a shame.
Then there will be nothing before 2021.😭
