    This TOPIC is exclusively if a member notices and confirms there’s a problem with trading on ProRealTime and/or IG in the LIVE environment.

    The purpose is to have a Platform Alert Mailing list.

    When should you post here? If for example you’re unable to:

    • Login IG Markets
    • Start ProRealtime
    • Execute trades as expected

     

    Before posting please do your best to confirm that there is a real issue (contact IG and try another computer, etc…) – let’s try to avoid false alarms. Please DO NOT post anything related to what might be a Strategy System error that you might have. This is exclusively for live real time issues with IG and ProRealtime.

    How to make this work for all of us:

    1. Subscribe to this post
    2. On your smartphone see if you can setup an Alert when an email comes with this Topic Title: “ProRealTime and IG live platform status and problem mailing list” (see my notes below for Gmail and Android* sorry I don’t have an iPhone but maybe some else can suggest something similar).
    3. To test that it’s working send a test email from another email account with the subject – please don’t post here to test it.
    4. If you notice a problem with IG or ProRealtime
    5. check the IG Status page: http://status.ig.com/
    6. If you’ve done your best to confirm there’s a real problem – post here stating the problem but please no discussions here because we don’t want unnecessary alert emails – instead start a new Topic Thread for the specific instance.

    *Gmail and on Android Setting up notifications

    1. In your regular gmail account under Settings -> “Create a new filter” which the Subject: “ProRealTime and IG live platform status and problem mailing list”
    2. Apply a Label to it eg. IG-ProRealtime Alert and make sure you tick Never send it to Spam
    3. On your Android phone workspace/desktop add a Gmail widget showing the Label you created above: IG-ProRealtime Alert
    4. Click Sync and choose 30 Days
    5. In your Android Gmail app under Settings
      1. Tick notifications
      2. Go to Manage Labels and find the label
      3. Tick Label notifications, Sound, Vibrate, Notify for ever message

    Hello traders

    There is an issue with data feeding through to PRT from IG – I’m not sure if this is impacting trading systems but its highly likely it could be because none of my systems on PRT are showing changes in price and all instruments are showing as closed.

    Otherwise PRT seems to be functioning because I manually closed positions from IG and I received the PRT alert that one of my systems stopped due to my IG intervention.

    IG are working on it.

    Hi David – thanks for the info – I take it as per the thread this was in your live environment? I am seeing that the major FX pairs charts in demo are lacking any candles for Sunday (hence forward testing once again screwed up) but just logged into live PRT to check there and same thing – no candles showing on charts for Sunday…

    all sunday candles for gold is also gone , i have 2 live systems running and none of them executed trades and both of them was suppose to open trade if i run backtest i can see that they was suppose to open trade.

    PRT Live is running but I’m noticing strange executions and delayed execution times – I have notified IG.

    CLOSING AND OPENING market orders occuring within a system at the same time period/bar which is technically not possible.

    Delayed execution times – taking up 24 seconds to execute an order.

    I would suggest you STOP systems that are not in a trade or be very vigilant.

    If you would like discuss further please start a new topic as this one will keep triggering alerts.

    AT around UTC+1: 05:00 / AEST 14:00 IG had some issues and due to this some of the PRT systems have behaved incorrectly.

    eg. continuously executing multiple orders until the system quit and possibly other issues. I’m not sure if the issue has been 100% resolved but please check your systems and orders.

    I can confirm that IG had some issues this night, but still no infos from them on what happened exactly.
