My PRT is disconnected depite my Internet connection being good for everything else on my PC on Sat 23 Feb 19 @ 08:43 UTC+0.
I went on PRT website and checked various pages – Home, Contact, Help and Support – to see if PRT display a Service Status Message … nothing displayed.
I guess it’s another case of Demo Account being such a low priority that a Status Message would not be displayed on PRT website, but then again PRT display the Status (Service down today until further Notice etc) for Live Accounts either do they??
Is anybody else getting the same Disconnected red alert as attached?
Display of Service Status on PRT website would be a good idea as then I / we would do something else useful and come back later!

I would have been very frustrated if I’d planned a day of strategy development – which I guess a lot of people who have to work during the week might of had planned for the weekend.
PRT really should consider sending out a block email just advising that maintenance might mean that the platform is not available this weekend or that there is a problem that might mean that the platform is down for a while. Forewarned is the difference between a day in the pub and a day swearing at your computer screen!
02/24/2019 at 10:09 AM #92171All valid points re the Service Status etc, but maybe we are overreacting a tad as I found last night that we can still develop and backtest Strategies … seemingly as normal?
If I were PRT, I would read our (over?) reaction / comments above as a groundswell of feelings that we have a low opinion / experience of the PRT Support / Feedback procedures generally … or maybe just for Demo Accounts??
02/24/2019 at 12:21 PM #92186Just adding my voice also…. same problem. It seems I can backtest but I cannot prepare for automatic trading an algo I want to start at 10:00GMT tonight. Anyone at PRT got any answers pls.
