I was using PRT previously on Windows without any issue, but in the previous weeks, I have switched to MacBook/macOS, and I have problems to launch PRT.
Briefly my experiences:
– Latest setup file was used for installation, and setup finished without any problem. (install and uninstall was done many time, not solves the problem).
– When I want to start the application (tried from desktop icon, and directly from webpage via Safari and Chrome browsers), only just the attached error message pops up. When I click on the button, I am directed to PRT website “Launching problem?” page.
– I have macOS Monterey version 12.6.2 (21G320), and latest installed Java (v.8 – update 351).
– I have no antivirus which can block the application.
– MacOS Firewall is on, but PRT is added as exception to not be blocked.
I checked PRT website for some solution with system settings, but most of the support is related to Windows.
Contacted to PRT support, but no solution since 2 weeks.
Hope somebody has some experience with this error.
