My quantity automatically switches to 5 (units/contracts) whenever i change a market. Anyone has the same problem?

I guess you mean when manually trading?

If you input 1 does the 1 then go red? If Yes, this means that 1 is not allowed for that Market so increment by 1 and you may end up at 5 before it goes to black??

    automatically switches to 5

What value does it switch from?

There is a setting somewhere for default Lot size.  Mmm maybe not as I can’t find it?

Yes when trading manually but thats not the issue. This problem occurs on markets that allow 1 contract (eur/usd, Dax etc.) So now i have several times opened 5 contracts when i wanted to open less – which isnt optimal.

So the issue is that i can be trading on 1 contract per order – change market – then change back – and it has “pre selected” 5 contracts for the order.

So its no a “minimum contract” issue.

ah is it saved for that template maybe?

Try setting to 1 and then go File, Save as *** then change Market and see if it is still at 1??

Then File, Quit, Save open again the Platform and let us know the outcome?

    Hello,

If you change the quantity on a value, the quantity will remain on this value.
The quantity by default is 1.
