Renko style for tradingsystem

  Hello everyone!

  I am new to the platform and new to the forum, I have however been looking through a lot of posts and have to say that this is a great community! 🙂

  I am new to coding but have a decent understanding to what I am after.

  So to my understanding the RENKO style for charts is quite new at this point and I can’t seem to find any useful information of how to build a tradingsystem based on this style..

  Do I first have to code the indicator to later build my strategy upon said indicator or is there a way to build the system directly on top of the RENKO style?

  When I try basic codes in the system the backtesting jumps straight to the candlestick chart, is there something Im missing or a special set of commands to use for the renkostyle?

  As for now, you can’t use renko bars in automatic trading in real time. You have to use of the indicator around that simulate the renko bars in order to create your own trading system with that kind of price representation.
