    Dear Klydeed,

Following your request, you could either send us a request  to restore your last Friday back up or you could launch the default workspace.

If you want us to restore your last Friday back up, I invite you to send your request with a technical report

    Hi,

do dont wish to restore to last friday backup, i wish to restore to factory defaults so that i can begin again as if i was a new user with virgin settings and virgin colours, also , i dont need all or any of the past code i’ve done – i wish to start again from new.

I’ve done this – as per above comment, is there a way to reset “EVERYTHING” on PRT to be as it was when i logged in for the very first time?

Default workspace still retains my lists, my indicators code, my screener code, my automated code – i dont want to have to eliminate every codeline and every list item “one by one” – I’ve been a programmer for 35 years now and by normal software development methods this is called a “hard reset” or “reset to factory defaults” – typically it’ll be a matter of deleting a few config files or emptying a table in the database. I thought it was a simple question but clearly not.

    JS

Why not uninstall the program from your computer and reinstall it?

(Under the Help menu in PRT you can first download your own data, if desired)

    JS, that really won’t help.

Open a separate Account, but I’m sure you have considered this?

Withdraw (or maybe transfer from Account delete to Account New if IG can do this?) funds and then pay into Account New.

You sure you not throwing the ‘baby out with the bathwater‘ though by achieving what you want?   You may want to go back over old coding ideas one day?
