Dear ProOrder Team,
Did you perhaps notice that NONE of your numerous forms allow for the saving of settings like with the wrench you see below ?
Yes, you noticed because I alone by now complained about such things a 100 times. In this board, directly to various support people, by phone – everywhere. What is the matter with you, Team ? Why is it so that in ProRealTime throughout for example (!!) this wrench works – hence sustains the settings, and why it is so that NONE of your forms can ?
And when we are at it anyway, WHY OH WHY is it so that again none of your ProOrder dedicated forms don’t preserve settings like width or sequence of columns (while they surely can be “set”) ?
Dear Team, how in the world is it possible that not only me complains about this for the length of uncountable years, and that nothing is done about this ? Is it maybe growing all over your head ?
Can’t you visit your neighbour team and learn from them how to do it ?An already implied redundant question : WHY do you provide changing the settings per explicit means like the wrench, while it only lasts for the current PRT session ?
Where you involved with V12 too ? If not, then too bad, but if so, shouldn’t you solve these totally annoying issues FIRST ?
I must assume that the ProOrder Team really exists. I am saying for many years by now that it looks like the whole ProOrder environment was made by some banned group of people living in a cave, separated from –beautiful Paris. Nothing complies with the otherwise mostly beautifully working software in the manual trading environment.
If this comes across as too harsh then I should apologise. But before you think it is too harsh, why – would you think – is it necessary to write about this AGAIN ?
I am sending this to support as well so it can be ignored from that angle too. 🙂1 user thanked author for this post.

Because we are all disheartened, demoralised and wearied by the lack of save of settings on forms and we are lying down like beaten dogs waiting and hoping for titbits of love / response from our lords and masters (PRT ProOrder Team) ! 🙁

I am fairly sure you are going to solve this now, as I was told that this is passed on for solution. Now, when you are at it anyway, can you please add some trick-column which allows for sorting on systems which have positions ? Then we can have those in one view instead of always scrolling up and down (or change the sorting on one of the current columns, e.g. “Position”). And of course save that I am soritng on that column, in case I need to restart PRT.
Regarding the “Position” column you see below, you could think that sorting on that one does the job. But it does not because a Short is a negative position and thus shows at the bottom of this list.
I like to add : What you all did here, with allowing for 120 concurrent Strategies, is great. But it needs that finishing touch for making it more workable.
Of course the internal solution is sorting on the column Latent Profit (Latente winst) and cause each Strategy to be in a winning trade at all times. But I was not successful on that one, so far.
