Is it possible to have systems continue to execute if an error occurs, for example lack of margin, thus giving the system a chance to enter later if the conditions trigger and the margin is then available ?

In short No, esp not for lack of margin.

There is a setting to allow a position to remain open if the System / Algo gets Rejected with an error message (margin requirements need to be available else System / positions would be closed regardless of the ‘remain open setting’).

Thanks.  I realise a position cannot open if not enough margin or stop too close for example, but does the algo need to stop? I would prefer it kept running then if another setup comes along it would try again

Where is the setting you mentioned? I think I know the one, it relates to positions not algos though right ?

Yeah I am familiar with that.  OK it seems there is no way to achieve what I would like, I will need to monitor and restart manually
