Hi,
I wonder if this suggestion is possible at some point in the next PRT upgrade:When you have a chart and a couple of indicator windows below it you can select to maximise a particular indicator window but then you can’t see the Price Chart just the maximised indicator.
It’d be great if you were able to select an indicator to be maximised in size and have it ALSO maximise the Price chart too? This way you can directly compare the indicator signals to the price data.
Eg: The top half of the chart window would show the Pice chart and bottom half the indicator.
(Mock up chart shown in image attached but indicator is not scaled width – wise)04/03/2018 at 8:11 PM #67065Yeah great idea Bard … the one only maximised is not the best!
I often find myself lining up a bar with, for example, the left hand end of the units box so that I can then see what the Indicator is also doing at that particular point when I maximise the Indicator.
Sounds an absolute nonsense of a workaround even as I type it! 🙂
So yeah great idea … make sure you add it to the Suggestions for PRT Topic.

04/04/2018 at 7:31 PM #67161Hi GraHal, Good to see you still on here and good idea, line up the price bar with a constant frame of reference (units drop down)!
I wonder if the guys at PRT who’ve probably already thought up 20,000 brilliant ideas for the platform and then implemented them would mind one more? 😉I don’t think Suggestions is running anymore? Using this search feature here takes me to a page that has comment by Saud back in 2016.
Cheers

04/04/2018 at 7:34 PM #67162Thanks Vonasi, that would be the simplest idea only I already have a quite a few charts open with some CPU power sucking calculations and running fans (see my posts on MESA indicators by John Ehlers) and now that I’m using a new 15″ Macbook (and not the 17″) it’s feeling a bit cramped. Time to get an external monitor….
