Hi!
Is it possible to do something about the search funktion. its very hard to find something you have seen before. I think you wrote earlier about making some changes.
and when we are diskussing codes it would be awsome if everything that is attached in a tread where accesable from some link or in the beginning of the thred. All to make it easier to find.
Regards
Henrik
04/10/2017 at 9:03 PM #31675I have started to use google as a search tool for this site … enter prorealcode.com + whatever you are searching for and bang it’s there!
This will ease the stress for Nicolas 🙂
Re System Codes, Indicator Codes, Screener Codes … I agree it would save a lot of reading / searching time if we know that the latest version complete System code etc is provided at the beginning of the Thread. I guess this would be down to Code Authors and Moderators working together?
I think this is generally the case, but having never seen it stated I always doubt and end up scrolling down the full Thread and with some Threads now at 76 Pages it can lead to giving up?

04/11/2017 at 8:19 AM #31691Yes! I will replace the website search engine (hardly code from me….months ago) with Google search. It will be better and faster of course but the main con is that we’ll loose the sorted results I made with the actual search engine. Maybe I can do something with the Google API? I’ll try.
You are right this is definitely something to improve! I moved this to the top of my to do list!About the list of attachments at the top of each thread, great idea!

04/23/2017 at 7:59 AM #3300404/26/2017 at 4:47 PM #33524Just added an infinite scroll to the library section, now you don’t have to click on the next page button, just scroll the page with your mouse and all previous library’s posts will continuously appearing.
Seems to work nice with all tested browser so far, please tell me if you encounter any bug with the library page! Thank you.04/27/2017 at 11:33 AM #33668Now Google translate is included into each forum topic, in the first post of each page, there is now a dropdown list where you can choose your preferred language. I added different language translation: French,English,Spanish,Portuguese,Swedish,Italian,German. If you want more languages, please ask me.

05/12/2017 at 1:27 PM #35310Big update today: I modified the syntax highlighter with something that will be more “user friendly” for everyone. Now the button is not “INSERT PRT CODE” anymore but the “<>” one you can see in the text editor toolbar. The new syntax highlighter will perfectly render the probuilder language, if you find any bug please let me know.
Code can now be copy/paste with the ease of a button, because each code embedded into post has now its own toolbar.
In the same time, I added BBcodes support to the forum, so you can also embed code into your post with the “scode /scode” tag. “scode” must be in brackets like in the attached picture.
1my prt codeSmileys are now also correctly rendered by the forums 😉 and copy/paste text from other website or google translate for instance should now be correctly formatted.

(Maybe it’s not the widespread issue I imagine it to be).
So yeah I think the icon may be a bit too subtle for those unfamiliar.
I know you have done more (re source html etc) than just change the icon, but Insert PRT Code seemed logical to me?
Suck it and see maybe? See if instances of ‘insert plain text code’ increase now?
Just my thoughts anyway, for what they’re worth

05/12/2017 at 8:13 PM #3536005/12/2017 at 9:12 PM #3536305/18/2017 at 10:22 PM #36044Must be an easy answer for this and I’m missing something … how come I can upload an image to a Library post from ‘My Media PRC website repository’ of images I have already uploaded to Forum posts.
But I can’t / not allowed to upload an image to a Library post direct from my PC??
Seems incongruous / illogical??
