JohnScher – as requested in the first post of this thread:
Note: This is a survey about added features and not about fixing bugs or bits of PRT that you find annoying! Please list new feature ideas only.
Please try to stick to the spirit of this topic – it is not a place for moaning or pointing out bugs or problems in PRT that you don’t like. I did not read your first post as Robertogozzi kindly moved it to the correct location before I had a chance. No one is pushing you away they are just moderating and ensuring posts are in the correct location.

06/29/2018 at 6:35 PM #7486407/01/2018 at 3:49 PM #75013- Support by Proorder of semi automated trading both ways, ie you can open a position manually and let ProOrder making the risk management, or you close a position manually which was opened by ProOrder without your strategy being stoppped
- Making ProOrder managing a strategy on multiple instruments. Ex: applying a strategy on the result of a screener
- Arrays
- Using in a strategy the market data of multiple instruments

Now that MTF has become available for demo testing it has become even more evident how limited the data sample for back testing is on faster time frames. Even if we could just have the same on hourly time frames as we get on daily or weekly it would be a massive benefit when testing strategies now using MTF.

I hope not, it is a good Thread!
I still have it in mind to add my 5, sorry the last few weeks have just been mad.
Maybe it just needs bumping up every few days with an appropriate comment to get folks thinking and adding their 5 new features.

Damn – you saw through my cunning plan!

1, ProOrder Auto-Trading Window needs a full redesign to show stats (which are currently only visible behind View Performance) in sortable columns. Stats in columns can then be used for at a glance analysis of Systems.
If insufficient space to display all Performance stats on one screen then a user preference tick box can be provided.
08/16/2018 at 11:06 PM #78423i’m really new to PRT so apologies if these are already here and I’m just now aware of them
- “True” Point and figure charts, ie squared
- Portfolio Backtesting. Testing multiple strategies, against multiple instruments based on available capital, where capital can be increased, or decreased in intervals. for example where you can put in an annual/monthly sum
- Rotational Strategies. The ability to backtest moving in or out of top 5 momentum stocks for example
- Strategies based on different chart types simultaneously. Eg enter on the breakout of a 3 line break, exit off a moving average on a candle. or enter on a P&F triple top, exit on a renko breakdown
- Sector analysis. Where the sector can be used as a filter based on which sector a particular stock belongs to
- A strategy based on the results of a screener
- Trend lines that you can move end points yourself, not just extensions

Anyway as im pretty new, I was wondering if they was a way you could compare the price distance from when a trade is opened (for example the price when your algo opened an order to the currentClose[0]
Does anybody else need such a feature or does it already exist ?
