Weird … checkboxes count / work okay for me … see attached (Demo Account).
So it appears that the Strategies with yellow triangle won’t allow deletion. I must first click all those so they will disappear to eternity (somewhere in the list of 200). Very convenient.
Not.Anyway this is a reason that the count in the top does not “match” what you checked. This was not the reason the other day (see quote) – this remains unknown so far.
06/23/2022 at 8:40 AM #195912Yes it is annoying having to click on all the yellow triangles before being able to move forward with a delete action or restart etc … especially as the error message is often meaningless / no help in knowing why the TS was Rejected?
Also the scroll bar does not stay in one place, so at each click on a yellow triangle, the scroll bar moves so far that the yellow triangles cannot be seen any more and so the sequence is … drag scroll bar to display yellow triangles, click on the yellow triangle, scroll bar moves way down, drag on scroll bar again, click on another yellow triangle … drag scroll bar again … repeat, repeat etc.
We are like mice in a lab experiment, having to ‘ding the bell’ before the door opens so we see food!
Why can’t the scroll bar ALWAYS stay at the top, now that would be helpful!? Alas the scrolbar has a mind of it’s own as there seems to be no sense to where the scroll bar lands … not that I have determined anyway?? 🙁
06/23/2022 at 9:24 AM #195919Of course there is sense in that !
But you’d have to ask PRT what it is. “Somewhere in the middle” seems a good guess.Anyway, indeed. So if I want to delete such a triangle line, I must click the triangle, read something in a popup message which does not make sense anyway, click away that message in order to …
not being able to find back the line I wanted to delete.06/23/2022 at 9:32 AM #19592006/23/2022 at 9:46 AM #195925Here is an other annoyance, but this most probably is because I don’t know how to get rid of it. This is the portfolio form. It shows each line twice with a treeview like button in the left, but of course collapsing that won’t stick. These double lines only show in PRT-IG, not in PRT-IB.
The fact that I don’t know what it is for is already annoying.
?06/23/2022 at 9:58 AM #195927More about messages;
Yes GraHal, I took that from your post this morning.
At dozens of places – this is one of them – I recognize some strange way of “upside down” thinking which could be normal after all but which won’t cope with my thinking.
Why is the message a king of threatening WHILE this checkbox is UNchecked by default.Next, and also not a coincidental oddness, why does the complete message explains to me that completely nothing will be the matter if I check that checkbox because in the end my stop will be as close to what I wanted anyway, but now without the risk of being thrown out for this reason. Then just check that thing under the hood and be done with it !!
Probably that is not the best idea, but the why is unknown. *If* you make a lengthy message, put something useful in it !06/23/2022 at 10:29 AM #195931The fact that I don’t know what it is for is already annoying
I agree, it is annoying and, but it is only way – on that view – to see the time position opened.
Anyway to close the double rows, click the little icon (with no name?) at the red arrowhead as on attached.
06/23/2022 at 10:32 AM #195933not being able to find back the line I wanted to delete
Tick the box before clicking on yellow triangle and therefore also before the scroll bar moves the required line way out of view … then at least you have a tick in the box to find required line again
06/23/2022 at 10:41 AM #195936Why is the message a king of threatening WHILE this checkbox is UNchecked by default.
I agree and had noted this oddity way back.
We would have no time for trading if we noted every oddity we see, but I would note down every oddity if I knew PRT are at least reading and formally reviewing etc.
I’d love to know if others see the same oddities that we do? I doube they do as loads don’t even see the big yellow highlighted Forum Rules at the bottom of each page before they press Submit.
06/23/2022 at 10:53 AM #195938you make a lengthy message, put something useful in it !
The message is doubly odd anyway … we can’t make changes / adjust stop levels while a TS is running anyway and so the message is confusing / meaningless. Unless I am missing something?

PRT should change the Z-order of the “tooltip” showing the name of the Strategy. It must be *over* the other labels. Not under it, obviously.I like to emphasize that this is not a coincidental happening, as I am confronted with this continuously.
There is not way that e.g. via vertical scaling/zooming the labels go further apart so we can look at the Strategy names after all. This is an-no-ying.
06/25/2022 at 10:32 AM #196071But not if other orders cover it.
I sent in a Sugestion about this direct to PRT via their webform about 3 years ago, I suggested they sort it so the TS name shows to the right of the Order labels.
Nothing to show, years on, re my Suggestion … as usual. Understandable why we blow our tops occasionally as we feel repeated frustrations using the Platform … I guess we have to put up or ship out?? Sad state of affairs though eh??
Your idea of bringing the TS name forward so it shows on top of labels sounds even easier to implement. Suggest it to PRT via their Form …
