In the list of all trading systems, when a trading system is duplicated or deleted, the list always jumps back to the beginning, instead of staying where it was like in v10.3.
Now, when you want to delete 20 systems, you delete the first one – list jumps back to start. Scroll list down again to where you were before, delete next system. List jumps back to start again. Scroll down to where you were before. Delete next system. List jumps back to start. And so on and on. Impossible !
How long will it take to delete 100 systems to clean up memory ? I guess I will get finger paralysis before or my mouse wheel needs to be oiled…
12/09/2020 at 7:33 AM #153043Ha, I see that now it has become possible to delete many systems at the same time by marking them before. Good progress !
But still, when a system is deleted or duplicated, the list jumps back to the beginning. This is still quite annoying and should be changed, so that the list stays where it was before and it is possible to start a new duplicated system right away, without having to scroll back to its position.

Above is how it was on v10.3 also.
12/09/2020 at 10:07 AM #153057Ok, so this is not a support topic. Please post this as a suggestion to PRT by using their suggestion box: https://www.prorealtime.com/en/contact?suggestion=1

No, in 10.3 it stayed where it was before in the list, both after deletion or duplication of a system. Just double-checked once again.
I will send a suggestion to PRT. Should be changed in my opinion to make it user-friendly again, as it was before.
12/10/2020 at 5:31 PM #153252I submitted a suggestion to PRT. Hope this will be fixed very soon, as it is really annoying to scroll 1000 trading systems down, each time when you duplicate the latest one in order to improve it ! Is this an issue or a matter of taste ?

Deffo an Issue, used to drive me mad in v10.3! I can’t see any use nor advantage to this irritant.
And yet when I sort the List of Algo’s (so clearly I am interested in those at the top of my sorted List) … the scroll bar does NOT jump to the top. but stays where it was before I sorted the column.
So …
- Scroll bar DOES jumps to the top when it is illogical and unhelpful for it to do so.
2. Scroll bar does DOES NOT jump to the top when it would be logical and helpful for it to do so.
Hope you referred to this Thread in your submission to PRT?

12/11/2020 at 2:14 PM #153397The problem is the following : Each time, when something has been changed in a trading system (a system has been deleted, duplicated, or its contents changed and saved), then the list jumps back to the beginning. Horrible ! You have to scroll down again to the prior position in the list, and that 50 times a day !
When nothing is changed, the list stays where it was before. The list of trading systems (and of indicators) should be programmed in this way, that it always stays at the position where it was before, when something is changed. The jump back to the beginning is an unnecessary change in v11, or better, a bug that has not been thought of while changes were made.
Well, this is the way, new software starts working, and we are here to improve it.
