I recently updated the Ultimate Breaker indicator. If you are an indicator user, the new version has been automatically installed on your platform. I have improved the indicator, adding retest signals and display options.
Retest Signals
I have integrated the retest and validated retest signals into the indicator:
- A retest occurs when the price returns to the resistance or support after a breakout.
- The retest is validated when the price rebounds after the retest.
Click the “Retest” and “Validated Retest” boxes to activate these signals on the indicator’s control panel. (see screenshots in attachments)
Displaying targets and stop-loss
I added options to display price targets and safety stops. You can display the targets by checking the “Take Profit” and “Stop-loss” boxes.
RETURN option
I removed the “RETURN” option, which has become obsolete. The indicator’s returned data can be displayed by clicking on the checkboxes at the bottom of the configuration panel.
Impacts of the changes
This update impacts the indicator’s call in a backtest. You must integrate the two retest parameters, add the display parameters, and remove the RETURN option when calling the indicator in the code.
I updated the documentation in which I provided an example of the indicator call code in the “Backtest & Automatic Trading” section. You can copy and paste the code to create your backtests:

Upcoming updates
Pattern recognition
I will improve the algorithm for recognizing trading patterns. The detection of figures will be much more precise and faster. This will increase the probability of success of breakout signals.
Market scanner
I have been working for several months on creating a screener to detect pattern breaks in real-time. The latest tests I have carried out are conclusive. The screener generates some false positives but detects patterns well overall. It works on all assets in all time frames.
I hope to publish it in the next few days. It will be integrated into the indicator, so if you already own the Ultimate Breaker, you will automatically receive a license.
