I know there are some here that trades for a living.
    I have respect for you.

To those who dreams about trading a for a living income and have a free life with all the time in the world to do what you want to do… It’s not that easy.

Trading for sole source of income is another world comparing to trading as a “hobby” or extra income. Suddenly reality becomes real!
I got retrenched end of July and now have no option (in meantime) to trade for a living.
Being a white male, wrong side of 50, living in South-Africa makes me almost unemployable. Those who knows or stays in SA will know what it’s about.

Let me tell you stress levels are very high and very real every day. Trading for a living income is not easy. Suddenly every $ lost or $ gained makes becomes important. Every $ counts especially if one does not have that much cash in savings to carry you for months to come. Draw downs becomes nerve wrecking.! Oh you should see and hear me when the market turns against me.! I go nuts.! 😀

I also thought, yes, I would like to have all the free time to trade for a living. This while I still got paid every month. Now suddenly if you don’t make money for the day or end up with losses it means you don’t get paid for the day. That’s the reality.
Now I’m trading with all nerves on end
Knowing every entry and exit in the market is risk one thinks twice before committing to a trade.

Someone said “Nervous money does not make money” and that is so true.

So, if you don’t have income for 3-6 months and more than enough cash to trade with don’t quit you day job yet 😊

Good advice. Thanks for that. I hope you will manage to setup a store in the upcoming market place, thus as passive income 🙂
