    What the hell?

    In about 15 minutes I got mails notifying me of sudden interruption of all my TS, I open the demo PRT and I don’t see anymore the tab Trading, no more Order Window!

    Is it just me, or what?

    I also experienced that, but only for DEMO accounts, while REAL accounts perform as usual.

    So what should I do?

    Inform PRT, IG, just wait?

    What if I can’t restore my codes?

    I think PRT are aware of this issue, moreover ther are reading this topic.

    In any case you can inform them, either by phone or email.

    I already experienced this ove a year ago, I just waited and after a few hours everything was working back as usual.

    This is unrelated to this issue and is a general recommendation, save your work (strategies, screeners, indicators) also in a text file to be stored on your PC or on some sort of cloud (like Dropbox). I always save my code whenever I make some changes, even multiple times throughout the day!

    You can also leave your downloaded files in the DOWNLOAD folder. This will allow you to be able to restore your work with minimal effort.

    It would be a great improvement (maybe not as fancy as 3D charts) if users were informed ahead of planned server/platform maintenance, by email and, for those with an open platform, with a pop-up alert window, telling us what to expect and how long inconveniences might last.

    Luckily I can still access to ProBackTest, so I can save all my codes.

    Still irritating though…

    I exited my platforms, the reentered by using the JAVA mode, not the usual mode.

    The only difference is that now I see just ONE icon in the bottom bar of Mozilla Firefox, for all the 3 platforms I currently use.

    I’m back to normal, except I have open trades which are phantoms (can’t see them anywhere!) … why did I try to be clever and raise trades when it was all going haywire!!?? 🙂
