Trading without indicators

  Just a wee note:

  Some people following this thread (not members) have been contacting me asking if my scalping system is for sale.

  I have always said I would NEVER sell a trading system, I have purchased other peoples systems in the past and been let down bigtime with results.

  In the past my trading systems were no better than the people selling trading systems to me, hence my reluctance to put a trading system together to let people down as I was let down myself.

  In the back of my mind I have thought about it, reason being is that if I can make money from it I could increase my own bet size and retire a bit earlier than I could otherwise.

  If I do decide to let my trading system out onto the web it could jeopardise results I’m getting as well and no doubt anyone buying it could spread it about or modify a couple of things and start selling it as there own trading system.

  I have no doubt that my trading system is a proven system now and works fantastic in all trading conditions up/down/sideways etc so that would alleviate the bad conscious if I do decide to sell it.

  If I did decide to sell it (which I haven’t yet), I would only sell 100 copies, I would ask for deposit, I would then ask all buyers to pay on the same day and they would all get it at the same time.

  This would be the plan of action I would use if I did decided to sell it, but I haven’t yet!

  If I do get a lot of interest and more emails asking me then I might change my mind but it would be limited to 100 no more.

  The deposit would be £100 and another £400 on the day which is obviously £500, £1 for each of the 500 trades taken for the challenge!

  I’m in the middle of other stuff (house building project) but had to try it …. and I only just noticed that the average gain is 60 … “I’m gonna be rich like you!” HAHAHAHA  MarketPlace GET READY!!!! 😉

  Hahha I got it going on shorts also and set it going 13:44 and its 15:08 now and it has already made £152!!! 🙂 £1 per point, see attached.

  I do wish I could automate my trading system but there is absolutely no chance of that happening any time soon, its just not possible, I could train someone to duplicate what I’m doing and pay them for doing it but they would end up realising how easy it is and go home to do it themselves! I’ll just need to stick to the rules and follow them myself for now!

  I’ll be getting the nick name fastest finger in Scotland soon at the speed the trades are going.

  The misses said she would like to see 1000 wins, woman! they don’t want much do they LOL

  If/when I reach 1000 I’ll post the result but don’t expect it anytime soon I’m going for more a point now I have cracked it, don’t get me wrong it wasn’t always this easy and I understand how people get trapped looking for the magic formular, it took me long enough to find it.

  Ha £270 profit already!!!! 🙂

  You should try, but keep it simple and understandable!!  I can’t cope with 100’s of lines of code, I can’t hold it all in my mind enough to fully understand / follow what is happening when etc.

  That’s why I’m chuffed with this one as it is only 18 lines of code!

  Also I rarely backtest   > 10K bars … I can’t be doing with waiting for results. 10K bars whips through in a few seconds (with 100 combinations of variables) so I can amend the code and rattle it across several Timeframes in 2 or 3 minutes … suits my personality! 🙂

  I’m ordering the HeliCar now (road and air)! 🙂

  Yeah, hahaha – the good old mistake made again. Run that over 200K bars instead of ignoring it, and tell us at what moment you were blown.

  In other words : no active StopLoss …

  My stops are 2 x what I’m going for 6 points on every single trade unless I’m going for 5 points in which case stop loss is 10 points, in and out quick that’s the key  momentum momentum momentum

  Try to replicate that, giving up my secrets here
