Hi, I am using v10.3 and trying to create an indicator with a variable.
The ProBuilder pdf manual shows a Variable Definition window which has settings for :
However, when I open the Variables (spanner top left) in my ProBuilder – Indicator Creation, there is no option to define the Label in Properties Windows. I can only define the Label in Program.
Is the Label in Properties Windows setting somewhere else or no longer available please ?
Hi….I’ve noticed this change too (No longer a way to sensibly describe a variable in the properties window) with 10.3.
Now I have an indicator with some variables which were created before 10.3 with descriptive “Label in Properties Windows”that I can’t alter (I don’t want to actually)andnewvariablesthat are a bit unhelpful as they are the same as the name of the variable in the code.
Is there a plan to bring back the facility providing/amending “a sensible description” aka “Label in Properties Windows” for variables please?
By the way, Nico, the “Label in Properties Windows” is documented at page 14 of the programming guide.
Thanks.
Yes a lot of people would love to have the “Label in Properties Windows” coming back. You can add it in the wish list yourself, if you want: https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/centralization-of-queries-and-suggestions-on-prorealtime/
