All … I am still working on the format of presenting the bugs list. However, for me it would be the most easy to pass on Bard’s post. I mean, especially the newly announced bugs are quite easy to judge for me plus Support knows me (in and out) and they will trust me on passing on such a bug or erroneous situation etc. What I’m saying here is that such a means of operating should not overload 1st line support because they would just pass it on to 2nd or Development without further looking. I myself would/could add context to it, like for example my previous post. That’s two links (to in this case two posts) which are very easy to deal with, plus perhaps some kind of confirmation *that* I passed it on. Is this an idea ?
I’d still need to trial it with my Support, so they can judge whether it would be workable. I / we must also think about how to provide feedback.
Let’s keep in mind that I just as well do this for myself. All these issues cost time, and some times even money.

01/23/2021 at 10:36 AM #158965I’ve added that grab edges bug in the Wants and Bugs log.
I have an Ultra Wide Samsung monitor that I have my laptop connected to and with V11.1 when I try and change the time frame or number of units it displays the drop down column at the top of my laptop screen instead of on the UW monitor if the chart is lucky enough to be directly above my laptop if beyone the boundaries of my laptop screen it doesn’t display anything. I’ve logged this also.

But the problem should be added to the list just the same (which I could do when it wasn’t done yet).
There should be a column Y/N whether passed on to PRT. Or maybe the issuer name of that (empty is “has not been passed on”).
@GraHal, maybe it is time to make a new topic for the List itself ? … then people (like me 🙂 ) can find it.
01/23/2021 at 11:01 AM #158974I think GraHal was planning on highlighting it in a post to give it more visibility. Nicolas has already stated he has forwarded the list on to ProRealtime but I’m sure a two pronged attack wouldn’t hurt. I have no problem if someone else wants to escalate them if it helps the issues get fixed quicker.

OK. But that list is not to be forwarded anywhere in this “state”. Example, see attachment. Those refer to a topic, not the posts in there. Try it yourself. 🙂
Besides, I never saw Nicolas saying that he forwarded the list (he wouldn’t either). I said that … for trials …
Nicolas forwards individual issues, kind of similar like I do.But we will get there;
What’s required first is a clean list with workable items and real bugs. The fact that I mentioned non-issues in there, did not make anyone remove those. Maybe I shall do that (as far as I know them by heart) ?01/23/2021 at 12:32 PM #158999What’s required first is a clean list with workable items and real bugs.
You mentioned you’d already made 294 submissions to PRT, so how do you keep a record of submissions to PRT?
Since you have a formal role / tie-in with PRT (since last 15 days) it makes sense for you to take the lead in what and how bugs are reported to PRT.
So why don’t I do a copy of the Wants & Bugs List (thus far)? I could call it – Wants & Bugs Log (PeterSt) – and then you rehash / amend as you wish?
When you are ready, you raise a dedicated Topic on Platform Support Forum and post a link to above Log to give the Community visibility of ongoing progress??

I have done literally so (OK, with “Trial” behind it). It’s cleaned up already as well. I did NOT look for new topics because I feel it is not my task (or it is too tedious). I had to remove general references to this V11 Bugs topic (you can’t find the real issues in there). Apologies to those with the issues, but they should try to add to the list themselves.

OK, will do so. Give me a minute.
Thank you GraHal.01/23/2021 at 12:51 PM #159009so how do you keep a record of submissions to PRT?
This is an issue in itself. PRT formally (read : for us) does not provide Release Notes. So usually after a long time I decide that nothing happened, or that I suddenly see something solved and I hope it is me who initiated that.
@Nicolas mentioned that he has insight in the ChangeLog. I never asked for that, but maybe I now should. Or say that we are entitled to it.01/23/2021 at 1:38 PM #159012Take my word for it, all the bugs reported here on the forum are carefully studied by the ITF teams (who develop PRT), some of them have already been fixed (believe me, I read the dev logs).
I have provided myself the link of the list of bugs that you had the good idea to create to whoever is entitled to it. It will be followed I can assure you.
Maybe we have a lost in translation again. 🙂
01/23/2021 at 1:43 PM #15901601/23/2021 at 2:03 PM #159017With PeterSt and his amazing people skills I have no doubt that our PRT issues will now get resolved speedily. 🙂
Its such a shame that with his vast and comprehensive knowledge of all PRT issues he hadn’t thought to share these and their resolutions with us earlier, rather than waiting for other people to do it then just criticising and hijacking their work.
01/23/2021 at 2:53 PM #159041Kovit – Please remember the following forum rules:
- Always be polite and courteous to others.
- …and most importantly – have fun! 🙂
This topic has become very far removed from anything that can be considered a ProOrder or a strategy discussion topic so I will move it to the ‘Platform Support’ forum which is also monitored by PRT staff.

@Nicolas mentioned that he has insight in the ChangeLog. I never asked for that, but maybe I now should. Or say that we are entitled to it.I think this can be helpful and motivate people to report bug too. Myself I reported few bugs before, sometimes support just said will transfer to be looked into, when I tried to follow up, they don’t even response…So I start to loss hope.
Thanks for this initiative, PRT can maybe looked into this, but if there is no answer if report bugs will be fixed and keeping people in the dark, people will soon loss the will to report bug soon.
Support knows me (in and out) and they will trust me on passing on such a bug or erroneous situation etc
Just curios, how do you obtain such privilege? 🙂

Did I ? I think GraHal asked.
Next, you probably missed missed my in this very forum to put up my list and how to “format” that. From there GraHal’s list emerged. I can’t help that really, except that he is very helpful. Like you are (which you somehow miss yourself ?).
You also will have missed (but no blame) that I stated in this forum that I could not come up with my list which I possess now for a year, because it was derived from the PRT-IB environment, where we can’t even AutoTrade live for real. And in PRT-IG no version 11 was about until a few weeks ago (which is exactly when I started contributing because it now makes sense – the issues I am seeing are for real, also in PRT-IG).
