Dear Community,
I would like to narrow down the number of results in my screener (which is working on 1 minute timeframe), leaving only those results where there is a lot of activity right now. I’m thinking toward a metric like “ticks per second”, but the screener doesn’t work on seconds timeframes. Maybe someone has already solved such a problem and can tell me how to achieve the desired result. My screener functions great overall, but my goal is to only get the most “in play” stocks at the moment that meet all my other conditions.
Thanks!

Maybe someone has already solved a similar problem, because finding increased activity is a key task for day trading, so I was hoping someone could tell me in what direction to move to solve it.
The “ticks per second analysis” was just an example of how these stocks are usually filtered, but it is clear that I should somehow get around using 1minute timeframe.
Maybe it is really worth trying to calculate ticks per minute and pick up some borderline value (if so, maybe you can point me to a similar code example, since I couldn’t find one myself 🙁 ). But maybe there is another, more efficient and elegant way to solve the problem.

By any chance we might have something similar?
