Hello world?
Im very happy to find this page, iam an traditional investor and trade stocks in general.
But im finding this algoritm trading very intresting, the reasson why its intresting is that sems an “easy” way to earn money (only need an good strategy). Dont know if its true or not.ATM i have rent 3 strategy from an twitter profile, its sems to work. but 75-80% goes to fees… But i think there is free strategy here, just need to find them, anyone have any? 😉
SO! why are we all here? earn money, right?
see u all!

wellcome to the dark side of makets… the especulation!;)
I really hope you can find here a “profitable hobby”. My two cents: I have my doubts about being a consistent winner here without really knowing what you are doing… I mean learning the code and not just use other people code without understanding it and problably making them at your own way.
But I can be wrong, it wouldn´t be the first time. Anyone here making money just using other people stuff?

Follow the link below and the instructions therein.
I sent this one as the Vectorials are good Algos, but also it is clear that folks can be members here for a long time and still not know about ‘View All Attachments’.
There are also Algos in the Library … link in the bar at the top of the page.
So you have a quick jump up in knowledge now BergstigarN ! 🙂
Best to pick from Algos at top of the ‘Attachment list’ as these have had more refining as they are the most recent.

10/13/2020 at 12:32 PM #147286There is no EASY way to earn money nor here nor anywhere else. Put in 10-20 years of hard/smart work and you might get somewhere, or might not. But with such attitude that “money grows on trees” you will def won’t get far. And since you’ve written that you are trading stocks then I would assume that you know in what particular business we all are at with all the risks and success %. Actually a lot more could be riddled from your little post but I leave you to it.
Good luck.
10/13/2020 at 12:46 PM #147287After a lot of work i was able to build a profitable portfolio, but the biggest challenge is to keep it profitable and avoiding all the risks; this is what separates it from being a hobby to being a job.

10/17/2020 at 9:16 PM #147637Here to learn from and share the little knowledge I have, and applying the knowledge to make money ofc ;). Been algo trading for almost 9 months now, and pleased with the results. I have a software engineering background, used to make websites and apps, also been trying to manually trade since I was 15 years old with no luck. Then I found out about PRT and this forum so decided to give algo trading a shot. I recommend reading the language documentation and try to code something and backtest it for yourself. The language is surprisingly easy to get into, especially compared to other algorithmic trading frameworks and languages. It’s also very reliable, however I found some complex things may still be lacking in the language. This community is a great help though!
