Why does everything I down on one chart appear in all the other charts?

  Morning everyone!

   

  Like the title says really, why does everything I down on one chart appear in all the other charts even when I’ve unlinked them?  I want my drawing tools to only appear on the chart I draw them on, not the other 4 or 5 charts I have open on the same symbol.

  how are you unlinking?

  same place as shown by red arrowhead on attached ??

  Ha … I just tried and my does the same! Weird I always thought that was what unlink meant!!!!

  I’ll investigate and report back if I find anything useful … but don’t hold your breath!? 🙂

  Mmmm seems I / we have been under an illusion … unlinking covers lots of other properties but not drawing tools … how incongruous is that??

  These are the options to be (un)ticked to suit your needs.

  Unlinking charts only means that you can select different instruments on each open chart.
