Hello community,
After Nicolas has published the new array functions (array availability) and the Example #2: probability cone, I had an idea.
On the picture you can see a so-called price projection box, which is calculated live and contains 3 areas. (Probability which area will be reached).
The stars mean the quality of the signal. Here we see an example of a breakout from a triangle formation. (As far as I know, additional indicators are used for the calculation). What I asked Nicolas is if we can create a template in which we define our own conditions from our setups.(For example exact values of BBand increase, etc.)
Also to filter out the good 5 star signals and make it easier to see the profits and target zones on the chart. I think this setup is especially interesting for scalping approaches.
All suggestions and ideas are very welcome.

I’m sure something could be coded but it would require a far more detailed description of how the zone is calculated and how the score rating is decided upon.

Everything! At the moment all we have is a box on a chart with three levels in it. how is the position of that box decided? How is the height and width of the box calculated?

Unfortunately I don’t know the exact calculation of the position of the box in the example, otherwise I would have formulated the conditions much more detailed.
The position of the price box results from the parameters that we consider and define.
(e.g. 2 green Heikin-Ashi candles after a Doji, RSI over 50, etc.)And depending on how many of the criteria are fulfilled, the more qualitative (max. 5 stars) the signal is.
Do you see what I am getting at?

No not really. We have some conditions to check whether they are true and what happened next. Well that is what my ‘Edge Finder’ does. then somehow we have to turn that into a box of a certain length and a certain height. It is all sounding a bit ambiguous and lacking actual details to start coding towards.
Also it is not necessary for you to quote my whole post just previous to your post. It is quite obvious that you are replying to me without you needing to quote me! 🙂
